Tonya Love, CPA
Tonya is a NY CPA who actively practices in Rockland County NY. Her specialty is small to midsize business accounting, tax planning and tax preparation as well as not for profit tax preparation and consultations. Her expertise also covers tax resolution and IRS debt negotiation.
She’s been practicing for well over 25 years and holds the CGMA designation as a member of AICPA. Her professional memberships include, NATP, NYSSCPA, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and BNI, where she has made many cohesive business connections with professionals in various industries.
Tonya has been fascinated with our tax system since her first job, she was quick to take notice of the amount of taxes withheld from her first check. She began reading the annual tax booklets cover to cover to understand how to minimize her taxes and friends around her. It was natural for her to begin working with some of the most experienced tax preparers in the business and learn from each of them.
In partnering up with a like-minded financial professional like Stephanie McArthur, she created a synergy for her new firm that is unmatched by most. Stephanie and Tonya each bring experiences in business management, accounting, tax planning, office management, client management, and most importantly the personal touch that their clients enjoy.
Today she has an open positive relationship with each of her clients. They are not kept waiting or wondering, they are informed and feel confident their taxes and financial management is being handled by a skilled compassionate professional.
Tonya has served as treasurer of several local organizations affiliated with her three sons. She volunteers in her community and church. Not only does she hold the CPA designation, she is also a Certified Global Management Accountant, Notary Public, and QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is a member in good standing of the NYSSCPA, NATP, AICPA.
Stephanie McArthur, Partner
Stephanie is a seasoned Business Manager whose main focus is to cultivate T and T Tax Inc’s client relationships and external partners. Stephanie’s primary focus is to anticipate client needs and manage their business affairs in a timely manner.
Although she specializes in VIP clientele’s special needs, she also has an array of small to midsize clients in her portfolio. Handling the business affairs of both, with a high level of professionalism and discretion, that is often forgotten in the business world today.
Stephanie has a special talent of listening, caring, and taking on difficult challenges until resolution.
Before Stephanie started her firm with her business partner Tonya Love for over 7 years, she was an Operations manager / Controller for a prestigious firm in NYC for over 35 years. Her core responsibility was to manage the day-to-day operations, such as personnel on- boarding, training, contractor management, business to business dealings, payroll, and Bookkeeping.
Stephanie is a dedicated professional in every way, but her family is her biggest accomplishment. She is married to a retired AT&T executive and has a daughter who recently graduated from George Washington University.
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism w/ a Minor in Business Administration. She is a board member and affiliate with:
